About Pastor james
Pastor James Polnick felt called to ministry as a teenager at youth camp in the hill country of South Texas. He later attended Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, Texas. He finished the credentialing process through Global University. He has worked for the past 16.5 years in full time ministry at Spring First Church in Spring, Texas. He started at Spring First as the Assistant Children’s Pastor until he became Children’s Pastor, and then became the Minster of Music and Associate Pastor.
James also has worked very closely with the South Texas District for many years: managing kid’s camps, retreats, serving on committee’s, working with the youth department, speaking at district ministry conferences, and served as the district fine arts festival coordinator for the past decade. On a national level, he has worked for the past 8 years as part of the national fine arts festival auxiliary staff and serves on the national fine arts festival steering committee.
James has been married for 16 years to his wife Gina and they have 4 children.
